Anyone who wishes to install a CCTV system either in their home or business must be aware of the rules and regulations
set out in the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA).
The Information Commissioner's Office has published guidelines for anyone who wishes to setup their own CCTV system.
Their web site can be found at http://www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk.
